Chinese Language Group Session (April)

This month’s Chinese Language Group (CLG) session welcomes back a special guest: CLG co-founder Leland Lazarus!

Leland will be joining us to share insights from his new report, From Fujian to Flushing: Chinese Criminal Networks in the Americas and Beyond (从福建到法拉盛:美洲及其他地区的华人犯罪网络), published by the FIU Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy. He’ll walk us through key takeaways and help spark a thoughtful, engaging conversation about how language, culture, and global issues connect.

The session will be conducted in Chinese, but all levels are welcome, especially beginners! Whether you’re just starting or looking to stretch your skills, this is a great chance to listen, learn, and participate at your own pace in a relaxed and supportive environment.

*Please read the report ahead of time. You can download the report here.
