Janea Johnson

Janea Johnson has dedicated four years as an Administrator of Operations at The George Washington University, where she is committed to supporting student success by enhancing operational excellence and helping students achieve their educational goals. Her own educational background is rooted in Social and Cognitive Psychology, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in 2020. She has since pivoted away from the field of psychology, as her true passions include language learning and intercultural engagement, and she wishes to utilize these passions to help foster inclusive and globally minded educational environments, especially for black professionals.

Janea recently earned a Master of Arts in Intercultural Communications Management in 2024, further strengthening her expertise in cross-cultural communication and organizational effectiveness. She is dedicated to advancing cultural education and meaningful international and intercultural exchange, with a particular interest in building stronger connections and mutual understanding between Black and Asian communities. Through her work and continued professional development, she seeks to create opportunities that promote dialogue, collaboration, and equitable access to transformative educational experiences. Though her journey is still somewhat in the beginning stages, she looks forward to creating unique spaces that help communities come together and see the strengths in one another.
