Lauren Mosely

Mentorship Program Lead | Pronouns: she/her

Lauren Mosely is a program manager with the Japan Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and Mentorship Program Lead at the National Association for Black Engagement with Asia (NABEA).

She participated in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program in Hyogo Prefecture from 2017-2019 as an assistant language teacher. Lauren previously worked at the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) as well as the U.S.-Japan Council. She received her BA in global politics and East Asian languages and literature from Washington and Lee University.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys listening to K-pop, catching a basketball game at Capital One Arena, and biking around DC via Capital Bikeshare.
