The September Chinese Language Group session will be led by Ashley Rudianne, Chelsea Anglin, Jordan Giles, and Raven Witherspoon as they welcome Rosey Peng, an author, historian, cross-cultural educator, and descendant of a chiefly family of the Ketagalan, Taipei's Indigenous people.
She is a co-founder of the Ketagalan Cultural Revitalization Alliance and an exhibition consultant to the Ketagalan Culture Center of the Taipei City Government.
For more than two decades, Rosey has worked across Taiwan, China, Malaysia, and the United States connecting history, education, museums, medicine, and international business.
She will discuss her new book, Raonoonoo, with NABEA members and share how the Ketagalan connected Taiwan to the world long before microchips.
All language levels are welcome to this event, and are encouraged to participate.
