Shaping the China Space: Education, Representation, and U.S. Policy

In partnership with Black China Caucus (BCC), NABEA hosted a virtual panel discussion on Black professionals in the China space, bringing together two accomplished professionals—Brandy Darling and Greyson Mann—to share their journeys and insights on working in and with China. Moderated by Maxine Humphrey, the conversation explored what sparked each panelist's initial interest in China, the underrepresentation of Black professionals in China expertise, and how greater diversity could reshape U.S.-China policy and discourse.

This discussion challenged assumptions and opened new pathways for engagement with one of America's most consequential bilateral relationships.

This virtual event was free and open to all.
